REQUEST: Public Works Dejpartment Requesting City Commission Input for the Median
Landsc3:pin.g Desi.gn for S.R. 434 from Tuskawilla Road to S.R. 417.
PURPOSE: The .pUl]Jose of this Board item is to solicit i1'!put from the Ci~y Commission for the
landsc~ping design of the medians on S,R 434 from Tuskawilla Road to S.R 434,
CONSIDERA TIONS:
The City Commission approved on November 13th a contract with SRI, Inc, for the
landscaping.and irrigation .design for the medians on S.R 434 from Tuskawilla Road toS.R
417. SRI has partnered with a landscape architect, David Wickham & Associates, on this
project .and they ne.ed feedback on .design .options hefore pro.c,e.eding with the design. They will
be giving a brief presentation on alternatives and then await direction from the City
CO.mm.ission. _Due to .ttIeYehruary 1,t deadline, the same presentation and feedback will be
solicited from the BOWS Board on December 13th.
