REQUEST: Public Works Department Informing the City Commission of the Intent to
Install Supplemental Indicators at all 3 and 4 Way Stops
PURPOSE: The purpose of this Board item is to inform the City Commission that staffwill be
installing supplemental indicators at all 3 and 4 way stops in the City
CONSIDERATIONS:
At a previous City Commission meeting, an inquiry was made as to the feasibility
to installing supplemental indicators on all three and four way stop signs to improve safety
at these intersections. There are 33 three and four way intersections in the City. The cost
to install approximately 107 supplemental indicators is about $320. The work will be
completed within sixty days.
