CONSIDERATIONS: This agenda item is needed for the staff to initiate the necessary steps to reallocate the City's portion of the One Cent Sales Tax to the Main Street project and other Town Center transportation projects if feasible. The initial 1991 interlocal agreement allocated $2.8 million dollars for two City projects - Moss Road - $1 million and the Tuskawilla bypass - $1.8 million. In 1996, a second interlocal redesignated the Tuskawilla bypass fund as "To Be Determined" . Subsequently, the City has entered into an interlocal for the Oak Forest Wall, which reduced the undesignated portion by $292,000. We are currently also attempting to incorporate brick pavers into the Tuskawilla Road project utilizing additional undesignated funds at an estimated amount of $250,000. The redesignation of the $1 million for Moss Road would make approximately $2,258,000 available for Main Street, which is near the estimated construction cost of $2,234,000.
