RESOLUTION NUMBER 2007 -37
A RESOLlITION OF THE cm COMMISSION OF THE
cm OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING
SKIP LAZLO FOR HIS 30 YEARS OF DEDICATED
SERVICE AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE cm OF WINTER
SPRINGS; AND EXPRESSING OUR APPRECIATION ON
BEHALF OF THE CrnZENS OF THE cm OF WINTER
SPRINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, SKIP LAZLO has provided the residents of Winter Springs with 30 years of
dedicated and distinguished service in the Winter Springs Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, SKIP LAZLO joined the Winter Springs Fire Department in the position of
Volunteer Fireman in July 1975, became a full time paid Fireman on December 9,1977, was
awarded his Fire Officer 1 Certification on October 21, 1987, was promoted to Lieutenant in
November 1988, received his Municipal Fire Inspector Certification on July 26, 1989, and
was promoted to fill the newly created position of Fire Inspector on November 30, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WINfER SPRINGS, FLORIDA as follows:
SECTION I - That the Mayor and Commission, City Manager, and Staff of the City of
Winter Springs takes great pleasure upon the occasion of SKIP LAZLO'S retirement to
recognize and honor him for his uncommon level of distinguished service to the residents of
Winter Springs through his employment in the Winter Springs Fire Department.
SECTION II - That this Resolution commending the services of SKIP LAZLO be
recorded upon the official Public Records and Minutes of this City Commission of the City of
Winter Springs, Florida.
SECTION III - That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to SKIP LAZLO with our
sincerest thanks for his many contributions.
