REQUEST:
The General Services Department would like to inform the City
Commission of the results of the 1999-2000 United Way
Campaign.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this agenda item is to allow the City's United Way
Campaign Coordinator, Employee Relations Coordinator, Mary
Wilson inform the City Commission of the results of the 1999-2000
United Way Campaign.
CONSIDERATION:
United Way Campaign Coordinator, Employee Relations
Coordinator, Mary Wilson would like to inform the City Commission
that the City's 1999-2000 United Way Campaign goal was 67%
employee participation. The final results were 60% employee
participation and pledges in the amount of $6,759.88
The Police Department had most employees participate.
Last year 1998-1999 United Way Campaign's Goal was 60%
employee participation. The final results were 76% employee
participation and pledges in the amount of $8,727.98
