REQUEST:
Information Services wishes to inform Commission of audio
now available on the City's website.
PURPOSE:
To inform Commission of the presence of Commission meetings now
available for streaming from the City's website.
CONSIDERATIONS:
The Information Services Department has started converting the digital
audio recordings of the Commission Meetings to a media format capable
of streaming from the web. To date only the May 30, Special Meeting;
June 11, Workshop; and June 11, Regular Meeting are available on line.
As more Commission meetings are recorded in their entirety the
Information Services Department will make those meetings available on
the web.
Currently our web hosting provider allows for 10 simultaneous
connections to the streaming media server. Should the need arise for
additional simultaneous connections they can be purchased for $20 per
month for an additional block of 5 connections.
