REQUEST: City Manager requesting the Commission to review and provide direction regarding
the approval of an agreement with Schrimsher Properties relative to the Town Center Code.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is for staff to present a proposed agreement with
Schrimsher Property relative to adoption of the Town Center Code, to discuss any outstanding
issues, and to receive direction from the Commission relative to any amendment the Commission
deems necessary.
CONSIDERATION:
As per direction of the Commission staff has continued to communicate with Schrimsher Properties
relative to an agreement for Schrimsher Property located within the Town Center.
Staff presented the last proposal Friday, February 11,2000. We do not have a response as of yet.
Staff will continue meeting with Schrimsher representatives up until the Commission meeting
Monday evening.
If we are not able to reach agreement we will advise you of the outstanding issues.
This will necessitate the Commission deciding if it will accept or reject Schrimsher's positions, or to
direct staff to continue negotiations.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Adopt the City proposal.
2. Adopt the City proposal with amendments.
3. Direct negotiations to continue.
