REQUEST: Public Works Department Recommending the City Commission Adopt the Critical
Events Schedule for the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District
PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is for the City Commission to adopt the critical events
schedule for the implementation of the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District.
CONSIDERATIONS:
The City Commission created the Oak Forest Beautification Advisory Committee on
April 12, 1999 with Resolution #877. On December 13,1999, the City Commission held a
public hearing and adopted Resolution #909 electing to use the uniform method of collecting
non-ad valorem special assessmtnts for the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District. The
critical events schedule developed by Government Services Group is attached. The first four
items have been completed.
RECOMMENDA TION:
It is recommended that the Critical Events Schedule be adopted.

FUNDING:
No funding is required at this time although the accelerated timeframe of the
construction of the wall may require additional funding to bridge to the bond issuance.
