REQUEST:
The City Clerk requests that Deputy Mayor Sally McGinnis make an Appointment
to fill a vacancy on the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory
Committee.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Agenda Item is to fill a vacancy on the Oak Forest Wall and
Beautification District Advisory Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Deputy Mayor McGinnis is being requested to make an Appointment to the Oak
Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee to replace former
Advisory Board Member John H. Rickards who previously served on the Oak
Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee.
The Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee usually
meets on the second Thursday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Term of Service for Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory
Committee Members is typically three (3) years; however, due to the individual
Terms of Office, the individual appointed to this position will serve through
August 2007.
If this Appointment is not made at this Meeting, this matter will be placed on
subsequent Agendas until the vacancy has been filled, or as otherwise suggested
by Deputy Mayor McGinnis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Deputy Mayor McGinnis is respectfully requested to make an Appointment to the
Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee.
