I have enjoyed your support, the support of the City Commission, the members of the Police Department, the various city departments and our wonderful residents and business owners. I consider myself a lucky man to have experienced working in such a fine community. Our accomplishments have been many in our city that has grown over 40% from about 25,000 to over 35,000 residents over the past 12 years. Meanwhile, our crime rate has dropped over 41 % and is down again this year. I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead with training and educating fire, rescue and law enforcement personnel at Seminole Community College. Certainly my experiences here in Winter Springs will assist me in my new position. Once again, thank you and please let me know if I can be of any assistance in the days ahead or during the transition.
