REQUEST:

The City Manager requests that the City Commission consider whether they wish
to hold a Meeting to replace the second May Meeting which falls on Memorial
Day -and is a Holiday.
PURPOSE:
This Agenda Item is submitted for discussion to see if there is a need to hold a
second Meeting in May (which falls on the fourth Monday of May -and is
Memorial Day and a Holiday).
CONSIDERATIONS:
Monday, May 12, 2008 is the second Monday in May, and will be the first
Meeting of the City Commission during May.
Monday, May 26, 2008 is the fourth Monday in May, and would normally be the
second Meeting of the City Commission, however, this date is Memorial Day and
is a Holiday.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission decide if they want to hold a second
Meeting in May, and if so, to agree on a date at this Meeting while all are present.
