City Manager requests the City Commission to establish a workshop to discuss issues regarding
the proposed Bart Phillips Project in the Winter Springs Industrial Park.
PURPOSE:
The agenda item is needed to schedule a workshop date for the Commission to review issues
regarding the proposed Bart Phillips Project in the Winter Springs Industrial Park.
CONSIDERATIONS:
The staff is preparing a report of the land use, site development and business issues involved
in the project in order to get a consensus from the Commission regarding the preparation of a
Development Agreement between the City and Bart Phillips under which the project could move
forward.
BUDGET:
N/A
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Commission schedule a workshop date for the purpose stated herein.
The City Attorney will be on vacation from Marchl4 to March 24, 2008. He will
need a considerable amount of time to complete his work on the land use issues.
I will be on vacation from April 12 to May 5, 2008. I would like to be here for
this workshop. In consideration of the City Attorneys' and my schedule, I would appreciate the
Commission scheduling the meeting during or after the second week of May or
the first week of April if Anthony can complete his work in time.
