Partyka at 5:30 p.m. ROLL CALL: Mayor Paul P. Partyka, present Deputy Mayor Cindy Gennell, present City Manager Ronald W. McLemore, absent Attorney Robert Guthrie, present COMMISSIONERS: Robert S. Miller, present Michael S. Blake, present Ed Martinez, Jr., present David McLeod, present (6:34) Mayor Partyka announced that the purpose of this meeting is to give public notice of closed executive session. Attorney Guthrie stated that this a special meeting, called for the purpose of going into executive session pursuant to Section 286.011 F.S. The meeting was scheduled at a previous public meeting, and involves an attorney/client meeting involving the lawsuit of Partyka v. Blake, Gennell, et.a!. and the City of Winter Springs, Case No. 98-532-CA- 16E, pending in the 18th Judicial Circuit of Seminole County. The session is set for 5 :30 p.m., and stated that the session should not exceed in length 1 Y2 hours, although it is expected to last an hour. Those expected to attend are: Deputy Mayor Cindy Gennell, Commissioners Robert Miller, Michael Blake, Ed Martinez, David McLeod; Attorney Robert Guthrie; a court reporter is present and will transcribe the proceedings as required by Section 286.011 F.S. Commissioner Martinez stated that he would like the record to indicate that Mayor Partyka has not been excluded from the executive session. Mayor Partyka convened the meeting at 5:40 p.m. Mayor Partyka reconvened the meeting at 6:33 p.m. Attorney Guthrie stated that the City Commission concluded the executive session.
