HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991 09 30 City Commission Special Minutes . . . 90-91-26 SPECIAL MEETING CITY COMMISSION CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 1991 The Special Meeting of the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida, was called to order by Mayor Philip A. Kulbes at 7:00 p. m. Roll Call: Mayor Philip A. Kulbes, present Deputy Mayor Paul P. Partyka, present City Manager Richard Rozansky, present City Attorney Frank Kruppenbacher, present City Attorney Tom Lang, present Commissioners: Cindy Kaehler, present Don Jonas, present John Langellotti, present Terri Donnelly, present The first item discussed was the letter from Mr. Ferring requesting a legal opinion over whether or not Mr. Toribio was properly qualified as a candidate for City office. It was a consensus of the Commission to have a letter delivered to the State Attorney's office tomorrow asking for an expedited answer to the issue. Interlocal Agreement-City of Winter Springs/Seminole County School Board/Indian Trails Water and Sewer: Attorney Lang explained in the agreement we have agreed that the capacity that is being requested by the School Board is 15,240 gallons and they are paying us a fee of $113,080.80, which is the capital outlay that is required to put them on line, and they have agreed to pay the fee. This is a compromise number based on discussion with regard to the capacity that would be necessitated for that school. The School Board has approved this document. In paragraph 4 they agree to pay on or before Oct. 15, 1991. Motion was made by Commissioner Partyka that we approve the Interlocal Agreement between the School Board of Seminole County and the City of Winter Springs. Seconded by Commissioner Langellotti. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Commissioner Partyka, aye; Commissioner Kaehler, aye; Commissioner Jonas, aye; Commissioner Langellotti, aye; Commissioner Donnelly, aye; motion carried.
