Pitt, has requested that the westerly five (5) feet of the utility/drainage easement located on his property at 698 Tuscora Drive be vacated. Mr. Pitt proposes to install a utility shed to the rear of his residence. Please see attached. Attachment /mh cc: Mayor Commission City Attorney City Clerk . . . ~~~~w~~ J(j'9JJ CITY of WINTER SPRINGS em MANAGER June 25, 1990 ~~!! I~. . 698 Tuscora Dr. Winter Springs Fl. 32708 Richard Rozansky City Manager City of Winter Springs Fl. 32708 Dear Mr. Rozansky; In accordance with the instructions given to me at the City Commissioners meeting on June 25, 1990, I have enclosed copies of the waver letters from Florida Power and Cable Vision of Central Florida. Other relavant drawings are included to give you an understanding of the utility shed I am proposing to construct on my property. Please remember that I could have purchased a prebuilt shed similar to the rest of my Tuscawilla neighbors and not have this problem, which is still a valid option, but I wish that the utilit~ shed should enhance the property and have choosen otherwise. I have spent considerable amounts of money on improvements to the property and have no desire to deminish this by a less than desirable construction. However, I am prepared to do whatever it takes within the code to provide myself with a utility shed, in order to enjoy this fine piece of property I have created. Thank you for a favorable decision. \i)~ CACS?~ Vernon pitt . . . JUNE 13, 1990 698 Tuscora Dr. winter Springs Fl. 32708 Glen Childs Architectural Committee Tuscawilla I have resubmitted the application for constructing a utility shed which will take up four feet of the utility easement which is ten feet wide across the rear of my property. You mentioned that this was the reason for not approving this construction. I am pleased to inform you that Florida Power, Southern Bell and Cablevision of Central Florida have granted me a waver of five feet on the said easement to build the shed. I have enclosed a copy of the letter from Florida Power for your records. Thank you. As Exclusive Agent for all new home sales within Tuscawilla, Tuscawilla Realty, Inc. presently advises new home buyers prior to closing to review the Covenants and Restrictions for that particular subdivision, and we provide a copy of those documents for that purpose. This policy will continue in full force not only with the second phase of the Glen Eagle subdivision, but every other subdivision where we are the exclusive sales agent. I ce~tainly agree that all new home buyers be fully informed of their ,responsibilities and obligations as a new Tuscawilla resident. Tuscawilla Realty, Inc. and its sales associates will do their part to introduce new home buyers to these responsibilities through timely distribution of that subdivision's covenants and restrictions. sincerely, ~~~llwtt~ AUG 2 7 1990 Theresa L. The unit costs on four items appeared to be somewhat low, thus after having a discussion on the telephone on July 26, 1990 with Mr. Glen Marvin, he agreed to the unit cost adjustments that were recommended. In lieu of the total cost of $609,515.00 for the project, a total cost of $639,118.00 was determined to be the final figure. Ten percent of this figure for the bond is $63,911.80.
