BID OPENING
FOR LARGE DIAMETER FIRE HOSE AND RELATED HARDWARE
FOR THE WINTER SPRINGS FIRE DEPARTMENT

Two Bids were received for large diameter fire hose and related hardware for the
Winter Springs Fire Department as follows:
First Bid opened was from Municipal Equipment Co., 1124 S. Woods Ave., P.O. Box 555057,
Orlando, FL 32805 for the following:
Item 1. 20 (twenty) coupled sections of National Fire Hose, Flomaster, 100
feet in length, 4 (four) inch diameter, complete with 4 (four) inch
storz couplings $420 ea
Item 2. 1 (one) coupled section of National Fire Hose, Flomaster. 50(fifty)
feet in length, 4 (four) inch diameter, complete with 4 (four) inch
storz couplings $260 ea.

Item 3. 1 (one) coupled section of National Fire Hose, Flomaster. 20 (twenty)
feet in length, 4 (four) inch in diameter, complete with 4 (four)
inch storz couplings $165 ea.
Item 4. 1 (one) storz blind cap and chain 4 (four) inch
$40 ea.
Item 5. 1 (one)- 4 (four) inch storz coupling to 4 1/2 inch female NST swivel $145 ea.
Item 6. 1 (one)- 4 (four) inch storz to 5 (five) inch storz adapter
$159 ea.
Item 7. 1 (one) gated 300 elbow valve with adjustable relief valve. 4 (four)
inch storz by 6 (six) inch female swivel. Overall connected dimension
not to exceed 11 (eleven) inches. Piston intake relief valve. Made of
anodized aluminum. $760 ea.
Second Bid opened was from Safety Equipment Co., 6852 Hanging Moss Road, Orlando,
FL 32807-5397 for the following:

The Bids will be turned over to the Fire Chief for a recommendation to the City
Manager.
The Second Bid Opening was for the sale of one (1) 1975 Chevrolet.
One Bid was received from Elice Estep in the amount of $51.00.
There being no further bids the bid opening was closed at 2:40 p.m.
