M., August 23, 1989. Present: Harry Martin, Finance Director Doug Taylor, Utilities Manager Leonard Kozlov, City Engineer Mary Norton, City Clerk Six Bids were received as follows: First Bid opened was from TAW Power Systems, Inc., 440 S. 78th Street, Tampa, Florida 33619, in the amount of $8,035.00 Second Bid opened was from WALCO Equipment & Engineering Co., P.O. Box 205, Maitland, FL 327S1 in the amount of $7,565.00. Third Bid opened was from Hughes Supply, Inc., P.O. Box 2273, Orlando, FL 32802-2273 in the amount of $7,855.00. Fourth Bid opened was from Cummins Southeastern Power, Inc., 4820 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Orl., FL 32810 in the amount of $7,824.00. Fifth Bid opened was from Pat's Pump & Blower, Inc., 630 W. Church St., Orlando, FL 32805, in the amount of $8,998.00. Sixth Bid opened was from Kohler Power Systems, Kohler Co., Kohler, Wisconsin 53044, (under the name of TAW Power Systems, 440 S. 78th St., Tampa, FL 33619 and 3400 Bartlett Blvd.,Orl.,FL 32811) in the amount of $7,697.00. The Bids will be turned over to Mr. Doug Taylor for a recommendation to the City Manager. The City Manager will make a recommendation to the City Commission on Monday, August 28, 1989.
