BID OPENINGS
FOR A PORTABLE STANDBY POWER SYSTEM

1982 DODGE DIPLOMAT AND ONE 1975 CASE-DAVID BROWN 990 TRACTOR

The Bid Openings were called to order by Mary Norton, City Clerk at 2:30 p. m.
Present:

One bid only was received for the Portable Standby Power System as follows:
Rozier Machinery Co.
1250 W. Landstreet Rd.
Orlando, FL 32809, in the amount of $27,736.00
The Bid will be turned over to Doug Taylor for a recommendation to the City
Manager.
The following bids were received for the tractor and car:
Robert L. Strang
4865 Scarlett Ave.
Cocoa, FL, in the amount of $675.76 for 1975 Case-David Brown Tractor.
D&J Equipment
Rt. 2 Box 765C
Longwood, FL 32750, bid as follows:
1 John Deere 850 Tractor, turf tires,
1 - 506 Rotary cutter, canopy for $7,784.
Will trade in the David Brown 990 at a cost
of $3,000; the difference will be $4,784.00

The tractor bids will be turned over to Gil Artman and the bids for the car will be
turned over to the Police Chief for a recommendation to the City Manager.
The Bid Opening was closed at 2:40 p. m.
