Walk through Inspection of Municipal Complex, Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1985, 9:00 a.m.
Present:
Mayor John V. Torcaso; City Manager Richard Rozansky, Police Chief John Govoruhk;
Fire Chief Charles Holzman; Finance Director Harry Martin; Building Official Sam
Smith; Commissioner Jim Hartman; Commissioner Arthur Hoffmann; Deputy Mayor William
A. Jacobs; Mr. Donald Hampton, LeCesse Corp; Fabian, LeCesse Corp; Donna Kirby,
Interior Designer.
The inspection started with Room 302, Police Department.
Room 302-needs kick plate on door.
Room 303-needs touch up paint; stains on ceiling tile.
Room 320-regrout around toilet.
Room 32l-paint on ceiling
Room 329-relocate cord for micro wave.
Room 330-touch up.
Room 339-redo grout around toilet; needs clips on mirror; caulk cabinet; replace one
tile and regrout around sink.
Men's locker-repaint door;
Room 334-caulk cabinet-regrout around toilet.
Room 333-did not change door.
Room 3l6-valances dirty; touch up paint above valance.
Room 3l4-caulk along ceiling; nicks.
Room 3l2-paint expansion joint dressings; touch up paint back of door and door frame.
Room 3ll-bad stain on carpet.

Touch up paint trim around door frame, back of entrance door wall trim in Police
Area.
Dispatch Area- missing paint; air vent is not tied up; air return grill needs cleaning;
doors (inside) needs repainting.
Police Reception Area-drywall in niche.
Room 3l0-needs paint touch up; floor receptacle.
Room 326-level outlets.
Room 33l-caulk cabinets
Room 342-recaulk cabinets.
Training Room research library-two doors to be replaced.
Commission Chambers-needs frame around door;seam seal on cabinets;tile is coming down;
Commission Lounge-needs switch plate.
Commission Chambers-6" mica casing around entrance door; caulk base in lobby;
Room 103-exhaust fan is inoperative; grout around toilets;
Room 104-grout around toilets;
City Hall-bathroom-regrout around toilets; exhaust fan cover bent;
Room 2l0-caulk corner
Room 23l-replace ceiling tile.
Room 230-sand paint drywall.

Room 2l4-adjust refrigerator
Room 2l5-needs regrouting.
Room 2l6-shower is leaking.
Room 2l7-caulk cabinets; drain needs cleaning; lavatory door is binding.
2l3-wet ceiling tile.
General comment- balance air systems; check insulation through entire building.
Room 329-fix over stove eyes by wall.
Fix door in Detective Room -346 - door head jamb.
Check exit light - rear door; hanging door.
Label all rooms - Storage Room, Janitor's Room, etc.
Fix wallpaper in skylight in Commission Chamber.
Need cover over box under counter at City Clerk's desk in Commission Chamber.
Caulk wing wall top on exit sides going out of building.
