Torcaso; City Manager Richard Rozansky; Police Chief John Govoruhk; Fire Chief Charles Holzman; Finance Director Harry Martin; Building Official Sam Smith; Commissioner Jim Hartman; Commisisoner Leanne Grove; Deputy Mayor William A. Jacobs; Fabian, Donald Hampton, Ralph Civitello, LeCesse Corp.; Donna Kirby Interior Designer. The inspection started with Room 302 -Police Department: damaged ceiling tile; drywall mud and tar on the window. Commissioner Hartman objected to the paint' on the doors; door is hitting and rubbing. The doors should have been stained! Room 303-overhead light-soiled ceiling tile damaged. Room 304-paint on the door frames and glass; corner drywall damaged. Room 3l9-spots on drywall finishing; Commissioner Hartman did not like the window sills, metal should have been floated out; return vent is covered with insu1ation- should be cleaned out; door seal-no plate between bath. All floors - rugs need to be cleaned; Room 320-regrout around toilet with green grout and caulk or replace frame around light; caulk inside cabinet-about a 16" gap. Room 32l-sprinkler cover-bare wire standing out of wall. Same comment on doors - should have been stained. Room 328-couple drywall spots; edge strip for rug - Room 329-0.k. Room 330-baseboard has paint, needs to be cleaned; door jam on hall side needs paint. Room 346-screws missing in private office door-glass is missing in door. Room 344-touch up painting; tile regrouted in Cell #1; all cells need general cleaning; ceiling tiles-water stained; Should be flush mount heads over sprinklers; caulk on top of back splash; broken tile. Sally Port - electrical outlet plate missing near camera and also high above door - 2 cover plates missing. Room 339-1ight fixture is broken;sealing bench; ceiling needs touch up paint; caulking in corner over sinks and tile is broken; sand down the wash basin. Men's locker room-tile missing underneath vanity; shower drains are grouted in, need to be cleaned; clean grout around urinals; ask for two more clips around mirror for safety. Exit lights in hallway - tile is bowing down. Room 3l7-c1ean caulking off window. Police Reception area - edging on bottom of p1exig1ass needed. Dispatch Area - additional outlets needed. Room 309 -o.k. Metal frame around water heater door - bad. Room 310-meta1 frame around door-bad; repair holes on wall near speaker. Room 317-o.k. Room 323-need threshhold and tile needs to be moved; paint around cabinet. Room 326-drywall not finished. Room 327-paint cut in around ceiling; needs second coat of paint. Room 333-paint cut in around ceiling; needs another coat of paint; replace door- door is split and messed up (latch bolt not put in right). Hall ceiling above Room 346 in the corner, move tile angle. Room 342-door threshhold plate missing; floor needs to be sanded and repainted with a brush; switch handles on refrigerator to reverse side. Room 34l-door neopreem stop needs adjusting; need vinyl base on 341 & 342. Room 332-0.k. Room 33l-caulk around cabinets; needs attention around drywall around the door. Room 322-o.k. Room 306-holes by transformer; loose base by expansion plate; needs attention/cleaning. Expansion joint between 303 and 314 needs paint, finish, etc. Ceiling tile near entrance door (Room 302) needs replacing (by exit sign). Commission Chambers: Door to Commission Chambers are not finished; rug has glue or something on it; baseboard by steps loose in two areas; need seam seal formica joints; along base board there is adhesive on baseboard coming loose; projector screen not working; possibly request shallow drawer at each station; chips on formica; Lounge area-grid is rusted in both bathrooms; paint on door jam. Need some kind of trim around entrance door (inside chamber). Metal edge by glass doors needs outside corner; wallpaper touch up in Lobby. Ladies rest room-casing needs paint; white grout around toilets-change. Room 209-water spots on light; touch up paint. Room 220-touch up paint. Room 22l-o.k. Room 23l-o.k. Room 232-touch up. Room 230-another coat of drywall mud; damaged ceiling tile and one missing. Room 234-windows need caulking. Room 233-cau1king cabinets. Page 3 Walk through Inspection Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1985 Secretary's area - repaint window sills. Room 236-clean up base. Room 237-paint - touch up; couple drywall dents; Room228-rusty ceiling grid. Room 227-0.k. Room 226-0.k. Room 2l4-0.k. Room 225-ceiling track - sheet rock needs repair by ceiling. Room 204-needs one coat of paint; window needs cleaning. Room 200- Receptionist area -p1exig1ass needs edging; touch up painting; ceiling tile missing. Building Dept. Room-needs cover plat on north wall; needs touch up paint by door and baseboard. Room 2l2-needs painting; holes in walls; needs shelving-brackets. Room 213-wa1ls need painting; two ceiling tiles - general painting. Room 215-white grout around commode; check ceiling tiles. Room 2l6-cei1ing tiles-change white grout around commode. No chrome ring around smoke detector in hall next to Room 215. General comment - Hallways - drywall mud needs another coat of paint. Room 229-ceiling light broken lens. Room 2l8-floor to be painted-needs touch up paint around door. Room 203-needs paint; light lens coming down; change white grout around commode. Entranceway: touch up cement around steel; clean brick in several spots; need to clean entrance; do meter box (water).
