Dear .Hr. Rozansky: I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the dedication and support extended throughout the construction of the Municipal Facilities Canplex, and to infonn you that Jack Tavenner and myself are planning to attend the meeting scheduled for May 14, 1985 to be held at your office. In accordance with the Contract IX>cunents, the project is scheduled for canpletion by August 12, 1985. We are three (3) m:>nths CJJNay fran this date and would like to address sane of the i tans listed in the Con- tract Specifications. \'DR!< BY OI'HERS (Section 01012) At specified times, throughout the life of the project, work will be per- fonned by Contractors hired independently by the OWners, and by the Owner himself. This work will include but is not limited to landscaping, outdoor sprinklers, equipnent, furnishings and finishes. \'DR!< SEQUENCE (Section 01014) It is the intent of the OWner to start noving in itans and equipnent as soon as possible and have the Police Department canpleted and ready for use before any other area. The Contractor agrees to arrange his construction schedule acoordingl y and to arrange for a certificate of occupancy fran all governing autlDri ties. e OC:CUPANCY (Section 01016) The Contractor shall provide partial certificates of occupancy fran all gov- erning authorities to allow the OWner to occupy and use the Police Area within the building. . OVlmR-FURNISHED ITEMS (Section 01018) OWner-furnished i tans are ] isted throughout the detailed drawings and specifications, and are listed as to OWner installed or Contractor in- stalled. Whenever i tans are listed as Contractor installed the OWner will deliver up the itan(s) upon the OWner co-ordinated demand of the Contractor. PROJECT CO-ORDINATION (Section 01041) The Contractor shall co-ordinate his work with the work of all others in- volved in the project whether employed by the Contractor or not. MECHANICAL AND EI..EI::TRICAL CO-ORDINATIOO (Section 01042) The Contractor shall hook up all equipnent shown on the detailed drawings whether provided by the Contractor or not. CUITING AND PA'lCHING (Section 01045) The Contractor shall do all cutting necessary to acccmrodate the work of others. SI'ARTING OF SYsrll1S (Section 01650) The Contractor shall start all systans called for in other divisions of the specifications to insure their perfonnance and acceptability. e m-mSI'RATIONS (Section 01735) The Contractor shall set up meetings with the Owners' Representatives and/or employees to danonstrate and give instructions for the use and maintenance of all equipnent and materials throughout the project. HARDWARE (Section 08700) The Contractor is hereby made aware that security, fire, am control systans will or may be attached to doors, frames, and/or hardware. He shall coordinate his work with the security canpany hired by the Owner. Sane of the itans that we are aware of, that will be furnished by the 0Nner ami or by independent sub-contractors hired by the Owner, are listed below. * Evidence lockers, gun case, filing cabinets, control console, seal, equipnent, am other furniture; * Lamscaping am outdoor sprinklers; * Telephone systan; * Ccmnunications systan - radio antenna: * Gas tank and car wash area; * Camera control and visual systani * Transfonners and pad (by Florida Power Corp.) . . Please advise us of any additional equipnent, and/or systan not listed above that will be installed prior to occupancy and which requires our c0- ordination. e Again, we wish to thank you for the cooperation and support received during these past six m::mths, and would like to let you krx:>w that our staff is a:mnitted to canpleting the Municipal Facilities Canplex on time and to the satisfaction of the City of Winter Springs. Jack-the time sequence we're talking about-the week of June 17th how does that correlate with your equipment? by that time we should have all the equipment here; we'll need some time to have it inventoried and checked out; Jackmy second date July 8 that provides you with an addtl 3 wks. after that; tht we're talking substantial completion for the entire bld. we might be able to meet that date; we haven't meen in daily or weekly tou ch in touch. we'll keep ......., Jack-those are asked for some furniture dates; Jack said July 8th would be substantial completion of the bld.- August 10 completion date. Hrdware-p.d. would be chief govoruhk and admin. would be jackie koch. no way to secure city hall. asked about the microphones, Tri City will be doing that. ..a - .
