BID OPENING
RESURFACING CERTAIN STREETS
FEBRUARY 3, 1983
The Bid Opening was called to order by City Manager Richard Rozansky at 2:33 p. m.
Present:
R. T. Gordon, Macasphalt, Inc.
L. C. Simoneaux, Macasphalt, Inc.
Richard Rozansky, City Manager
Mary Norton, City Clerk
Four Bids were received as follows:
First Bid opened was from Orlando Paving Co., P. O. Box 7186, Orlando, Fl. 32854,
Total Bid - $25, 883.66.
Second Bid opened was from Macasphalt, Inc., P.O.Box 1819, Winter Haven, Fl. 33880,
Total Bid - $23,695.17.
Third Bid opened was from Basic Asphalt, P.O.Box 17417, Orlando, Fl.328l0,
Total Bid - $24,042.21.
Fourth Bid opened was from W. N. J. Paving Division, Inc., 7544 Phillips Highway, P.
O. Box 17219, Jacksonville, Fl. 32245-7219. Total Bid - $22,991.10.
The Bids will be turned over to the City Engineer for a recommendation to the City
Manager. The City Manager will make a recommendation to the City Commission on
Feb. 22, 1983.
