BID OPENING FOR
CARDIAC MONITOR/DEFIBRILLATOR
MEDICAL COMMUNICATIONS RADIO
The Bid opening was called to order by Mayor Torcaso on January 6, 1983 at 2:34 p. m.
Present:
Charles Holzman, Fire Chief
Gordon Spencer, EMS Director
John V. Torcaso, Mayor
Mary NOrton, City Clerk
Four bids were received as follows:
The first bid opened was from Biotek Associates, Inc.,
671 Blairshire Circle, Winter Park, Fl.32792 in the amount of
$6,500.00 (Radio)
The second bid opened was from Epic Systems,
P. O. Box 442, LaGrange, Ill. 60525 in the amount of
6,720.00 (Radio)
The third bid opened was from Johnson Communications Corp.,
P. O. Box 1269, Winter Park, Fl.32789 in the amount of
6,775.00 (Radio)
The fourth bid opened was from Physio Control,1655 Phoenix Blvd.,
Atlanta, Ga.30349 , for the portable cardiac ,Monitor/Defibrillator
in the amount of 6850.00; replacement patient cable 50.00;
pediatric paddle attachments,External,Pair.100.00; 1 Bx. ECG
Recording Paper 10.00; 1 Accessory bag, veloro attached w/zipper
45.00

The bids will be turned over to the Fire Chief who will make a recommendation to
the City Manager. The City Manager will make a recommendation to the City Commission
at the Regular Commission Meeting on January 11, 1983.
Bid opening closed at 2:40 p. m.
