WORKSHOP MEETING
CITY COMMISSION
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS
AUGUST 2, 1983
The Workshop Meeting of the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida,
was called to order by Mayor John V. Torcaso.
Roll Call:
Mayor John V. Torcaso, present
Deputy Mayor Buck Adkins, present
City Manager Richard Rozansky, present
Commissioners:
Jim Hartman, present
Inez Linville, present
William Jacobs, present
Leanne Grove, present
The Commission reviewed the revenues and made changes as follows:
Ad Valorem Taxes deduct $38,840.00
Occupational Licenses, add $2,000.00
Permits - Building, add $8,000.00
Cigarette Tax - add $7,000.00
State Revenue Sharing, deduct $21,687.00
Mobile Home Tax (March) - add $1,500.00
State Sales Tax, add $45,000.00
Fines & Forfeitures, add $2,500.00
Fund Balance 82/83, add $50,000.00

New Total General Fund Balance, $2,250,062.00.
Changes to the Public Service Tax Fund were made as follows:
Electric Utility Taxes, add $8,500.00
Telephone Utility taxes, add $1,500.00
Water Utility Taxes, add $3,000.00
Gas Utility Taxes, add $1,000.00

Manager Rozansky will balance these first three pages, and re-distribute copies to
the Commission.
