RE:Abandoment of Easement Gentlemen: I am the new owner of house located at 414 Cedanqood Ct., also J:nmqn as Lot 7, Blk. J, North Orlando Terrace, Section Four of unit one, Plat Book 17, Pa~e 30 of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. We presentely have.a problem oetting clear title to our home due to the fact that the previous owner was granted a variance and built part of his home on the side easement. I aM enclosing a recent survey which shows a small part of ~he addition which is in the easement. There is presently no Utilities located in this side easeMent. All utilities are located in rear easment. I have secured letters from all Utility Companies stating they have no objections to vacating this eclsement. I am enclosing copies of these letters. LANG May 30, 1978 Fee Proposal In conjunction with my appointment as City Attorney, I am submitting the following proposal for .compensation for my services: 1. A $350.00 retainer be provided for attending all regularly scheduled meetings and workshops of the City Council. 2.0 The Council will be billed $ 30.00 an hour for all time spent in researching questions posed to the City Attorney and for all time spent in routine activities such as reviewing deed restrictions and land use proposals, attending special sessions, attending conferences on behalf of the Council and at the direction of the Council and disposing of routine City business including negotiations on behalf of the City. 3. The Council will be billed $50.00 an hour for all litigation, legislative liason work, Administrative appearances, and extraordinary representation of the Council. All bills are to be itemized and are to be submitted monthly to the Mayor for processing. Mr. Crosby will be at the meeting tonight to discuss this matter. Additionally, Mr. Crosby may discuss one or more of. the following: 1. Highlands Section One, Tracts H and I. Florida Land encountered an excessive amount of muck at the site and are requesting to reduce lots from 19 to 8. Hhat this amounts to is terminating Kilt Court with a cul-de-sac. I discussed this matter with the City Engineer. He felt that the change was not really a major alteration to the approved engineering. However, he requires new engineering indicating the changes. \~e will also require three copies of the new plat. Sec. 44.85.9 states that "any" request for an alteration, etc. must be reviewed by the Planning & Zoning Board. (See attachments) 2. Foxmoor Unit 2, Lots 49 thru 53. No prov1s1ons were made for sewer and water lines to service these lots. "I discussed this matter with the Engineer and he stated that we should require engineering showing the location of the lines. I passed this information on to Mr. Crosby and Mr. Bradshaw. (attachment 3) 3. Highlands Shopping Center - Sheoah Boulevard and State Road 434. This is a request for an alteration to a final development plan and should be submitted in accordance with Sec. 44.85.9. This in fact is a request for changing a 1.518 acre site fiommulti-family to commercial. (Attachment 4) 4. Highlands Section 6. The applicant has requested to be allowed to resume work on Section Six. Construction was stopped sometime in 1974, after final approval by the City, due to the economic downturn. However, the applicant will be required to resubmit a "final development" plan because: l. Applicant has not met time restrictions.(Sec.44.85.l1.). 2. The City Council has subsequently approved a request for a change in the Preliminary Development Plan for the Highlands.
