By means of this memo for the record I do want my feelings on the subject known and to say that I am unalterably opposed to any project which would place subsidized housing or apartments in the Highlands Planned Unit Development or any other PUD for that matter. e I feel very strongly that this is another case of the large moneyed interest infringing upon the little guy. As one of the Developer's spokesman quoted recently in one of the local papers "we are a big outfit" and I think that probably sums up very nicely the situation we (the citizens of Winter Springs) are faced with. I am sure property rights of the individual homeowner? not be devalued by the that much will be said about the private Developer. I ask, how about the rights of the Has he no right to expect that his property will acts of any outside interest? I say he does. I suspicion that the little guy will lose the battle when one considers the powers allied against him. But, I want to be on record as favoring any action Council sees fit to take to stop this project. If that means going to court, so be it. I am asking that this memO be made a matter of record. ~-~ Councilman, Seat I
