The invoution was led by aeveren4 Bentzinaer. A pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Councihlan Browaina. Councilmen: David Outlaw, present John Booth, present Irene Van Bepoel, present Donald Browning, present Motion was made by Councilman Hunter to approve the minutes of April 1, 1914 with an amendment to the' first _tion on page 2 to read "the Lombarcly Bitch". Secon4ecl by Councilman Van Bepoel. Discussion. Vote on the motion: COuncilman Hunter, aye; Councilman Outlaw, absent: Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Van Bepoel, yes; Councilman Brownina, aye; motion carried. aoll CaU: Mayor Troy Piland, present ViCe-Mayor Irwin Hunter, ,resent Attorney, Bcbund Woolfolk, present Mayor Piland reported that a request was received today from the city of '.,.no Beach for a resolution from this City to recover certain funds. This will be on the agenda for next week. Notif.ication has been received from Southern Bell of their intent to place telephone facilities on Hayes aoad. All COuncilmen will be given copies of a resolution from the City of Sunrise reference to the purchase of flood insurance. Copy of a public notice was received today from the Department of Tr411sportation concernina a hearing to be held in Sanford on April 17, at 7 :30 p. m. at the CourthoUse in Sanford. A CALBO meeting was leld last Wednesday evening. Dr. Duerr of Casselberry is to cOIle back with a resolution that the CALIIO Council requests the County to fund the study of a comprehensive land use plan act with input from the cities. Ha,or Piland asked the CALNO COuncil to invite a meBber of the Seminole COunty School Board to attend the CALNO meetings. The Mutual Aid Aareem.ent was discussed at the CALNO Meetina, and our fire Chief is to give us a recommendation as to what cities we should enter intO this agre-.nt with. Attorney Woolfolk reported that he submitted the changes that C8uncil made to the park plan to the Wilco Group, and they are preparing a finalized plan and a completion date. Councilman Booth reported that $12,327.45 would be set aside in the Police Department budget, and if the money is there at the end of the year, it would be utilized then. Hotion was made by Councilman Outlaw that the new GIlC truck be incorporated aa the Building inspector's vehicle and the old truck for the Haintenance Han and eUminate reimbursement of mileage, but to provicle mileage expense when authorized by a department. Councilman Outlaw discussed the cost of the loan for the proposed Fire Station-Gity Hall Complex. Motion was made by Councilman Booth that until further notice the Council a"ear here at 7 P. M. on Honday's for the specific purpose for a Workshop Session fr_ 7:00 until 8:00 p. m. Seconded by COuncUman Browniag. Discussien. Vote on the motion: Councilman Hunter, aye; Councilman Outlaw, aye; Councilman ~th, aye; Councilman Van Eepoel, yes; Councilman Browning, aye; 1IlOtion carried. Hr. Bob Koch gave a short report. Motion was made by Councilman Booth that we direct Hr. Koch to negotiate with Florida Land Company in the removal of muck from the southeast corner of the donated land. Seconded by Councilman Hmter. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Councilman Hunter, aye; Councilman Outlaw, aye; Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Van lepoel, no; Councilman Browning, aye; motion carried. Motion was made by Councilman Hunter that we proceed in the direction in which we have already set the groundwork and to continue under the present pr_ises of neaotiation with the Southeast First National Bank of Haitland.
