APRIL 4, 1966 Since Hayor Tilson had never had a gavel one was given to him before he called the Reorganizational B!eting to order. The "Gavel" was a long handled one, a croquet mallet. The Reorganizational Meeting of the Village of North Orlando, Florida was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Mayor David TUson. On Roll CaU the tollowing were present: Mayor David TUson Vice Mayor George Fuller Attorney Orville .Jonson Councilmen:: Charles Rowell IJ.oyd. Brown Jay A.., Wetz .-.- Mr. George Fuller was given the Oath and sworn in as Mayor of the Village of North Orlando, Florida by VUlage Judge Orville Johnson. Mayor Tilson presenteci a gavel to Mayor Fuller, a gift trom the Council. FireChiet, William Balm" presented a Citation from the Fire Department to the retiring Mayor, David Tilson. Mr. Brown, on behalt of the Village Council and the Village Clerk, presented to the retiring Mayor a regular gavel mounted along with the Village Seal and an engraved plate, "David G. Tilson, Mayor, Village of North Orlando, Floriu, 1965-1966." The Oaths of Office were given to the two new Councilmen, Ewrightson Harville and 'Charles B. McIntosh by Judge Johnson. I. Ballot was taken for the Office of Vice Mayor. Lloyd T. Brown was voted in unanimously for Vice-Mayor. Mr. Brown was given the Oath ot Oftice by Judge Johnson. At the Reorganizational Meeting in April, 1965, Mrs. ftelen Green had been appointed Village Clerk on a Temporary basis. Motion was made by Mr. Rowell and seconded by Mr. Harville that Mrs. Green be appointed Village Clerk, Treasurer, Tax Collector, and Supervisor of Registration on a Regular basis. Unanimously approved by Council. Motion was made by Mr. Wetz and seconded by Mr. Brown that the meeting adjourn at 7:50 P.M. Unanimously approved by CouncU. Respectfully submitte~, # - ~~ Helen F.
