Rents are not eligible for any govt. monies. Profit? You bet! Isn't that the goal for any business or developer? Why is this different? You are correct - an eviction is dictated by law. However, I believe they were talking about a termination notice. I don't know if any eviction time frame can be included in a lease or not. Let's find out. Crime? Orlando is one of the top crime cities in the USA. To compare this to the Sanford Housing Authority is like comparing apples and oil rigs. This is not section 8 housing. Please take the time to visit similar properties in Kissimmee developed by the Davis Co.. They are at least 10 to 15 years old. Could be an eye opener. As Jenny the reporter said last night, this could be a place where she could live, along with teachers, secretaries,- etc........... Some developers with this concept also offer a percent of units at market value. Perhaps we could require about this. In other words, lets try and make this work in an way that would accommodate your fears and accomplish the goals set forth on Monday night. Thanks, Sally
