Children"s Week has teamed ttp with The Grove Counseling Center, Inc., the Association of Early Learning Coalitions, the Florida Department of Health's Step C1p, Florida! Program, Community Based. Care of Seminole, Light of Hope, Prevent Child Abuse Florida's r'I'inci±s of Change Campaign, and with over 80 leading statewide businesses, non-profit organizations to expand the network of community involvement and education. on a wide array of children and family issues at the local level and conduct events and activities in March and April in all 67 counties focused on improving the health, safety and well-being of Florida's children and families; and I-~IIRE:~1S, the Farly Learning Coalition of ,'eminole, ns one of 31 Early Learning Coalitions in the State of Florida legislatively mandated to manage and oversee state and federal- ftulded early education and care progrtuns in Seminole County so that children will have the optimal health, education and care they need to promote early learning so that they can be successful in schoul and in life; and ~I--1}I~E1~S, Step Up. Florida! is an annual statewide health initiative developed by the Flo-•ida Department of Health that promotes the importance of daily physical activity and highlights the variety of physical activity opportunities available for all Florida residents by~ hosting local. events thr•oughottt the year. Step Up, Florida!
