Play Ground Equipment Vendor Selection . Ron The selection committee for the above referenced project, consisting of Tim Lallathin, Chuck Pula, RT Hillary, and myself, make the following recommendation. In our opinion it is in the City's best interest to award the playground equipment acquisition and installation to the lowest qualified bidder, Dominica Recreation Products, Inc.. (repre, senting "GameTime" equipment) for the entire project at the priceof$ 286,62 1. The contract would be awarded using the state "SNAPS" program for state- approved vendor's list and discounted pricing. ' The process involved with thisrecommendation involved the solicitation 0[5 well known and reputable playground equipment manufacturer's representatives who were asked to submit a bid for 'all of the parks based on a fixed . budget allocated to each park. ' . These bids were reviewed and the? firms were then invited to m8ke a formal presentation of their design proposal to the selection committee. . The selection committee, based on several criteria which included product quality, design creativity, delivery and installation time, similar experience, ability to perform, etc, then ranked the five firms and Dominica Recreation Products, Inc, was ranked the highest. ' . . The five firms submitting bids are summarized as follows and. are listed in order of the sele9tion committees ranking after interviews:' , Firm Price Rank Qualifications Rank 1.
