JUNE 23,1998
The Special Meeting of June 23, 1998, was called to order by Deputy Mayor Cindy Gennell at
2:35 p.m. in the Conference Room.
ROLL CALL:

Deputy Mayor Cindy Gennell, present
City Manager Ronald W. McLemore, absent
Attorney Robert Guthrie, present
COMMISSIONERS:
Robert S. Miller, present
Michael S. Blake, present

II. EXECUTIVE SESSION: DISCUSSION WITH LEGAL COUNSEL TO DISCUSS
MATTERS RELATED TO THE LA WSUIT: PARTYKA VS. CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS.
Attorney Robert Guthrie announced the Executive Session, including who would attend this
Executive Session which would convene in the Conference Room. Attorney Guthrie mentioned
whom would attend this session and other particulars.
Deputy Mayor Gennell announced "That we convened this meeting at 2:35, and we searched the
lobby for anybody who might be looking for us, because the Commission Chambers were in use at
that time, and the Receptionist was advised to direct anybody back there, and we allowed an extra
few minutes, in case anybody did".
The Executive Session then convened.
The public meeting was called back to order at 3:35 a.m., with the conclusion of the Executive
Session.
III. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE EXECUTIVE SESSION, THE COMMISSION
MAY TAKE A PUBLIC VOTE ON EXECUTIVE SESSION ISSUES.
Attorney Guthrie recommended that another Executive Session be called, and he suggested that this
be done on Monday, June 29, 1998 at 6:30 p.m.
Motion was made by Commissioner Miller to approve this recommendation. Seconded by
Commissioner McLeod. Discussion. Vote: All aye. Motion passes.
Attorney Guthrie announced whom would be attending this meeting, and other related details.

Deputy Mayor Gennell adjourned the Special Meeting at 3:38 p.m.
