PURPOSE: The purpose of this Commission item is to assure that the City Commission is informed of all the pertinent details regarding this training session. CONSIDERATIONS: · The "Right to Know" training is intended to give the employees the information necessary to make prudent decisions about the chemicals that they deal with on a daily basis. The class is required by Florida Statute 442. · The dates have been scheduled through the City Clerk's office for use of the Commission chambers. ISSUE ANALYSIS: N/A FUNDING: No additional funding is required. RECOMMENDATION: None. Informational use only. IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE: The classes will be held in the City Commission chambers on April 10, 1996 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, on April 11, 1996 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., and on April 18, 1996 from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. ATTACHMENTS: A - "Right to Know" Training - goal, outline and evaluation COMMISSION ACTION: ,.r~ ~ L.I' .
