REVISED WORK ORDER NO. 6
AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES
LAND DESIGN INNOVATIONS
PROJECT: Revisions to the Land Development Code
CITY:
Winter Springs, Florida
CONTRACTED
PROFESSIONAL: Land Design Innovations, Inc.
Execution of Work Order Number 6, by City, shall serve as authorization for the Consultant to provide
professional services for the above project.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSULTANT:
Consultant shall provide said professional services pursuant to this Work Order, to provide the City with a staff
report recommending changes to the current regulations of the City's Code of Ordinances for the following
specified sections and presenting the changes to the City Commission.
1)
LDI will re-write the Accessory Structure section (Sec. 6-84) and provide the proposed
changes to staff in a strike-thru and underline format.
2)
LDI will update the definitions section (Sec. 20-1) related to accessory structures and
provide the proposed changes to staff in a strike-thru and underline format.
3)
LDI will re-write the Home Occupation definition (Sec. 20-1) and recommend a new
stand-alone section in the Code for Home Occupations, rather than sticking the
regulations in the definition as is currently practiced.

LDI will recommend a new stand-alone Lighting section that incorporates specific
measurable illumination levels, and will ensure that the standards apply to residential,
non-residential and accessory structures.
5)
LDI will re-write the Noise section (Chapter 13, Article II) that incorporates specific
measurable decibel levels, and will ensure that the standards apply to residential, non-
residential and accessory structures.
6)
LDI will re-write the Zoning Districts/Permitted Uses sections for each zoning district
based upon accessory structures.
TIME FOR COMPLETION:
The professional services authorized by this Work Order shall be completed based upon the following
schedule:
Accessory Structure section re-write:
November 15
Definitions/Home Occupation section re-write:
November 22
Lighting section re-write:
December 2
Noise section re-write:
December 6
Zoning Districts/Permitted Uses section re-write based upon accessory structures:
December 6
If sections listed are completed more rapidly than the schedule above, they will be given immediately to
the City for review and comments.
COMPENSATION:
The fees for the professional services shall be performed on an hourly fee basis not to exceed $5,500.00,
without additional written approval from the City Manager.

Execution of Work Order Number 6, by City, shall serve as authorization for the Consult8Ilt to provide
professional services for the above project.
RESPONSmILITY OF THE CONSULTANT:
Consultant shall provide said professional services pursuant to this Work Order, to provide the City with a staff
report recommending changes to the current regulations for accessory stxuctures and. presenting the changes to
the City Commission.
TIME FOR COMPLETION:
The professional senrices authori2:ed by this Work Order shall be completed with one month.
COMPENSATION:
The fees for the professional services shall be performed on an hourly fee basis not to exceed $2000.00,
without additional written approval from. the City Manager.

Re: Land Development Code Revisions
Dear Mr. McLemore:
Based upon the discussions during our meeting on October 31, I have revised Work
Order #6 which was formerly only for Accessory Structures to include revisions to the
following other areas of the Code:
1) Home Occupations,
2) Noise,
3) Lighting, and
4) Recommendations to update the zoning districts and permitted uses related
to accessory structures.
5) Definitions
Additionally, a general schedule for completion has been added to the scope.
Please sign the revised Work Order, which will supercede the previous work order, and
return to LDI via fax or mail. Thank you for allowing us to continue to provide you
professional planning services.
