PURPOSE: This agenda item is needed for the Commission to consider a recommendation from the Board of Trustees (Pension Board) regarding renewal of the Agreement for 3rd Party Pension Plan Advisory services with Bogdahn Consulting, LLC. CONSIDERATION: On June 12, 2006, the City Commission accepted the Board of Trustees' recommendation to engage Bogdahn Consulting, LLC for 3rd Party Pension Plan Advisory Services for athree-year term. A contract was executed accordingly. On June 16, 2009, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to recommend approval of the renewal of the Agreement for 3rd Party Pension Plan Advisory Services with Bogdahn Consulting, LLC for an additional two-year period. RECOMMENDATION: The City Manager recommends the Commission approve the Board of Trustees' recommendation and authorize the City Manager to enter into an Agreement with Bogdahn Consulting, LLC for renewal of 3rd Party Pension Plan Advisory Services to the City of Winter Springs Defined Benefit Pension Plan for atwo-year period. COMMISSION ACTION: ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT FOR INVESTMENT PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND ADVISORY SERVICES THIS ADDENDUM ("Addendum") is entered into this _ day of , 2009, by and between BOGDAHN CONSULTING, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Monitor"), and THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, a Florida municipal corporation, ("city"). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, Monitor and City are party to that Agreement for Investment Performance Monitoring and Advisory Services ("Agreement") dated July 1, 2006; and WHEREAS, the Agreement is scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2009; and WHEREAS, section 3.1 of the Agreement provides that the Agreement may be extended for an additional term upon the written consent of both parties; and WHEREAS, Monitor and City desire to extend the term of the Agreement for an additional two (2) years; and WHEREAS, during a duly notice public meeting on June 16, 2009, the City's Board of Trustees approved the terms and conditions contained within this Addendum. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises herein contained, the parties agree as follows: 1.0 Recitals. The foregoing recitals are hereby deemed true and correct and are incorporated herein by this reference as a material part of this Addendum. 2.0 Extension of Term of Agreement.
