CITY HALL - COMMISSION CHAMBERS -:--:- NOTE: IT IS NOT UNCOMMON THAT THERE MAY BE CHANGES TO THIS AGENDA, INCLUDING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY COMMISSION. -:..:- I_ CALL TO ORDER The Session Shall Commence At An Open Meeting. The City Attorney Shall Advise The City Commission That He Desires The Advice Concerning The Litigation Set Forth Below. The Person Chairing The Meeting Shall Announce The Commencement And Estimated Length Of The Attorney-Client Session And The Names Of The Persons Attending. The Meeting Will Be Closed To The Public And The Attorney-Client Session Will Commence. At The Conclusion Of The Attorney-Client Session, The Meeting Shall Be Reopened, And The Person Chairing The Meeting Shall Announce The Termination Of The Session. II_ ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION Pursuant To Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, The City Attorney Will Be Seeking The Advice Of The City Commission Regarding Settlement Negotiations And Strategy Related To Litigation Expenditures Concerning The Pending Litigation Titled "Robert Ritz, et al. v. City of Winter Springs, et al." - United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida - Case No.: 6:03-CV-129-0RL-31-JGG." The Persons Scheduled To Be In Attendance Are Mayor John F. Bush, Deputy Mayor Edward Martinez, Jr., Commissioner Robert S. Miller, Commissioner Michael S. Blake, Commissioner Sally McGinnis, Commissioner David W. McLeod, City Manager Ronald W. McLemore, City Attorney Anthony A. Garganese, And A Court Reporter. III_ ADJOURNMENT Members of the public will not be permitted to be in attendance during the Attorney-Client Session. Final settlement of this case may also be added to the Agenda at the regular City Commission meeting scheduled at 6:30 p.m., February 23, 2004. Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the City of Winter Springs. 48 hours in advance of the meeting at (407) 327-1800, per Section 286.26, Florida Statutes. Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decisions made at these meetings/hearings they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, they may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.
