Subj: FY 2022-2023 General Stormwater Engineering Support Services
Dear Mr. Hursh:
The purpose of this proposal is to respectfully request approval from the City to provide general
stormwater engineering services as requested by City staff. It is our understanding that the
following services may be provided, as requested:
1. Perform miscellaneous coordination efforts with the St. Johns River Water Management
District (SJRWMD), the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and Seminole County,
as needed;
2. Prepare figures and exhibits for field reviews, meetings, and presentations, as necessary;
3. Assist the City with updating the Stormwater Ordinances, as needed;
4. Attend coordination meetings with City staff, as necessary;
5. Perform inspections and evaluations of drainage problem areas with City staff and/or
homeowners;
6. Prepare technical memorandums and figures documenting the drainage problem areas,
flooding causes, recommended improvements, and conceptual costs;
7. Prepare for and conduct presentations and stormwater updates to City Commission;

8. Coordinate with City staff regarding stormwater retrofit projects with grant potential in order
for the City to pursue monies under the State of Florida's State Appropriation fund,SJRWMD
cost-share fund, FDEP water quality grant programs, FEMA mitigation programs, among
others; and
9. Prepare for and attend the Seminole County Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) meetings on
behalf of the City.
Total compensation for general engineering support services shall be an initial hourly not-to-
exceed cost of$50,000.00 based on the following City-approved hourly rates:
