HomeMy WebLinkAboutMSA Cleaning Systems, Inc. 2nd Addendum - 2018 11 19SECOND ADDENDUM TO CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS JANITORIAL SERVICES CONTRACT THIS SECOND ADDENDUM TO JANITORIAL SERVICES CONTRACT ("Addendum") is entered into by and between the City of Winter Springs ("City,"), a Florida municipal corporation, 1126 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida 32708 and NSA Cleaning Systems, Inc. ("Contractor"), a foreign profit corporation registered to do business in Florida, 5401 South Kirkman Road, Suite 329, Orlando, Florida 32819. WHEREAS, the City and Contractor previously entered into the City of Winter Springs Janitorial Services Contract ("Contract") for the purpose of securing Contractor's janitorial services for the City I lall building and the Public Works Operation Building, all of which are located vshlrin the City; and WHEREAS, the Contract was subsequently amended by that Addendum to City of Winter Springs janitorial Services Contract dated in March 2018 ("Addendum"), pursuant to which the to of the Contract was extended for an additional year, additional services were added, and the public records provision of the Contract was replaced; and WHEREAS, City and Contractor desire to secure additional janitorial services of the Contractor as set forth herein for the Police Station, which is located within the City. NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties covenant and agree as follows: 1.0 RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are deemed to be true and accurate and are fully incorporated herein by this reference, 2.0 RESCRIPTION OF SERVICES T'0"' BE PROVIDED. ROVIDED. Section 1 of the Contract, as modified by the Addendum, is hereby deleted in its entire", and replaced with the following: 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: In consideration of the compensation received under this contract, the Contractor will provide the janitorial services for the City Hall building (1126 East State Road 434), the Public Works Operations Building {l 50 Hartman Lane), the Public Works Administration Building (400 Old Sanford Oviedo Road), and the Police Station Building (300 North Moss Road) described in the 'Janitorial Duties Specifications" attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. 3.0 COMPENSATION. Section 3.a. of the Contract, as modified by the Addendum, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced \,vith the following-. a. Page I of 7 JANITORIAL DUTIES SPECIFICATIONS: In addition to the specific dudes set forth below, the City reserves the right to add additional, minor duties to be performed by Contractor. No additional payment shall be due Contractor for said additional minor duties unless agreed to in writing by both parries hereto. Duties to1Le.4LqLfSrmed in Main 1. All carpet will be vacuumed each time serviced. 2. All hard surface floors will be swept and mopped each time serviced. Baseboards will be cleaned and maintained. 4. Ledges, door frames, decorative plants, furniture, and AC vents will be dusted weekly, 5. All glass doors must be cleaned each time serviced. 6. All trash cans will be emptied and relined each time serviced. 7. Restrooms in lobby should be cleaned and sanitized each time serviced, to include walls, sinks, toilets /urinals, mirrors, countertops and fixtures. Stainless steel should be polished, trash emptied, cans relined and paper products and soap restocked. Floors to be swept , mopped and sanitized 8. Individual office trashcans will be accessible by the employees putting the in the hallways; trashcans in the hallways should be emptied and relined each time serviced. 5. Break Room: Kitchen counter tops, microwave (inside and outside), stovetop, even (inside and outside.), outside of cabinets, outside of refrigerator, tables and sinks should be cleaned and sanitized twice a week. Floor to be swept, mopped and sanitized, baseboards need to be cleaned and maintained. 6. Two (2) Main Restrooms should be cleaned and sanitized each time serviced, to include -"Valls, sinks, toilets /urinals, mirrors, countertops and fixtures. Stainless steel should be polished, trash emptied, cans relined and paper products and soap restocked. Floors to be swept, mopped, and sanitized, T Small Bathroom in City Manager office should be cleaned and sanitized once a 'Week, to include cleaning and sanitizing walls, sink, toilet, mirror, countertop and fixtures. Trash should beemptied, can relined and paper products and soap restocked. Floors to be swept, mopped and satirized; baseboards need to be cleaned and maintained. Copier Room should be cleaned once a week, to include wiping down counters, dusting copiers and printers, fax machine and vacuuming. Copier Room should be cleaned once a week, to include wiping down counters, dusting copiers and printers, fax machine and vacuuming. 10. Training Room should be cleaned once a week, to include wiping down tables, dusting computers, and vacuuming. Small kitchen in the back of the chambers: kitchen countertops, outside of cabinets, outside of refrigerator, tables and sinks should be cleaned and satirized once a week. Empty trash cans and replace liners. All trash to be removed to designated area as specified. 3. Sweep and wet mop all tile floor surfaces with a neutral disinfectant. 4. Wipe down all chairs to remove food and hand prints. Place all chairs back to tables in an organized fashion. 5. Wipe down all cabinetry and walls to remove spills, drips, and finger prints. Total Cost Per Month- $600.00 ***MSA Cleaning Systems, Inc. will provide equipment, chemicals and trained and qualified personnel to perform above services. City of Winter Springs will provide all paper products, soap and trash can liners. *** Second Addendum to Contract for Janitorial Services City of Winter Springs/MSA Cleaning Systems, Inc, Page 7 of 7 will be the total compensation paid to the Contractor except for payments, if any, made under subparagraphs 3.b. and c. below. 4.0 'EXHIBIT "A"'. Exhibit "A" of the Contract, as modified by the Addendum, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replacedwith Exhibit "A" attached hereto. 5.0 OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Any other term or condition of the Contract not expressly modified by this Second Addendum shall remain in full force and effect.
