A PROCLAMATION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
proclaiming that a General Municipal Election will be held in the City of
Winter Springs, Florida, on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, for the purpose of
Electing a Commissioner for Seat/District One, a Commissioner for
Seat/District Three, and a Commissioner for Seat/District Five, each for a
four-year Term of Office.
MHEREAS. the November 8, 2016 City of Winter Springs, Florida - General Municipal Election will be held in
WHEREAS,with the Supervisor of Elections for the County of Seminole; and
IIHEREAS, the location of the Voting Places will be as set by the Supervisor of Elections for the County of
WHEREAS,and
IIHEREAS, in conjunction with the Supervisor of Elections for Seminole County, the names of the members
which comprise the Election Board will be on file with the Supervisor of Elections for Seminole County; any
vacancies after the original Appointments of the Election Board will be handled by the Supervisor of Elections for
Seminole County; the duties and responsibilities of the Election Board will be as stated in the Laws governing the
State of Florida; and the Election Board will be compensated as noted in the Laws governing the State of Florida.
THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS, FLORIDA:
SECTION I- Registration books will close October 11, 2016.
SECTION II - The Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8,
2016.
NOW THEREFORE, I, CHARLES LACEY, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS, FLORIDA do hereby Proclaim and Call that a General Municipal Election for the City of Winter
Springs will be held on Tuesday,November 8, 2016.
