RESOLUTION NO. 517
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY
OF WINTER SPRINGS TO ACCEPT A STATE GRANT UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF THE SMALL COMMUNITY SEWER CONSTRUCTION
ASSISTANCE ACT; SEVERABILITY; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS the City did seek state assistance for Step 2+3,
construction of effluent filtration facilities, high level disinfection, effluent
disposal facilities, effluent pump station improvements and sludge handling
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation did
offer said grant to the City through a Grant Offer dated August 22, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA:
SECTION I - That Richard Rozansky, City Manager, be and is
hereby authorized and directed to execute the Offer and Acceptance and accept
a grant offer in the amount of $549,877 on behalf of the City of Winter Springs
with the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation for assistance under the
Small Community Sewer Construction Act.
SECTION II - That Richard Rozansky, City Manager, be and is
hereby authorized and directed to furnish such additional information as the
Florida Department of Environmental Regulation may reasonably request in connection
with the implementation of the Grant Award and the subject facilities.
SECTION III - This resolution shall remain in force until
supplemented, amended, repealed or otherwise altered.
SECTION IV - All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION V - This resolution shall take immediate effect upon
its passage and approval.
