ORDINANCE NO. 78
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,
FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING
CERTAIN PLATS LYING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE and SEVERABILITY:
WHEREAS, a Petition was filed with the City Council of
the City of Winter Springs, Florida, to close, vacate and
abandon certain plats lying within the City of Winter Springs,
Florida, to-wit:
North Orlando Ranches, Section 12, as
recorded in Plat Book 13, Pages 24 and
25, of the Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida; North Orlando Ranches,
Section 13, as recorded in Plat Book 13,
Pages 39 and 40, of the Public Records
of Seminole County, Florida; North Orlando
Ranches, Section 14, as recorded in p]a t
Book 13, Pages 49 and 50, of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida; and
North Orlando Ranches, Section 15, as
recorded in Plat Book 13, Pages 51 and 52,
of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida,
and
WHEREAS, no one appeared before the City Council in
opposition to the same, and the City Council finding that the
closing, vacating and abandoning of said plats will not have
a detrimental effect to the surrounding property areas or to
the City or the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the following described plats lying
within the City of Winter Springs, Florida, to-wit:
North Orlando Ranches, Section 12, as
recorded in Plat Book 13, Pages 24 and
25, of the Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida; North Orlando Ranches,

Section 13, as recorded in Plat Book 13,
Pages 39 and 40, of the Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida; North Orlando
Ranches, Section 14, as recorded in Plat
Book 13, Pages 49 and 50, of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida; and
North Orlando Ranches, Section 15, as
recorded in Plat Book 13, Pages 51 and 52,
of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida,
be and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as of
this date and the City Council renounces any and all rights to
said plats as abandoned.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
SECTION 4: If any section or portion of a section of
this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconsti-
tutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the
validity, force or effect of any other section or part of
this Ordinance.
